Workshop Structure:
This short workshop will be of 90 minutes. It will be a combination of interactive group discussion and hands-on sessions beginning with a dynamic discussion on choosing the right social media platforms for research promotion. We will delve into the unique strengths of each platform, helping participants identify the ideal platform to reach their target audience effectively.
Next, we explore the art of crafting engaging social media posts. Participants will receive valuable insights and practical tips for creating attention-grabbing content, leveraging visuals, headlines, and strategic hashtags. Real-world examples of successful research promotion posts will inspire participants to elevate their own efforts.
Building on this foundation, we transition to creating 1-minute reels—a powerful tool for capturing the essence of research in a visually compelling format. Workshop attendees will gain hands-on experience in scripting, filming, and editing concise and impactful research reels. Practical guidance and a showcase of effective research reels will set participants on the path to crafting their own.
