This workshop is at an additional cost to the fulltime ISPRM congress registration.
The cost to attend this workshop is AUD350.
Outline
This is the level one workshop is designed to familiarise attendees with the principles of spasticity management through the use of botulinum toxin.
This workshop will cover the rationale and principles of practice for botulinum toxin use, including muscle selection, botulinum toxin dosage allocation and injection.
This workshop will also familiarise the attendees with ultrasound and neurstimulator/EMG guided injections.
Learning objectives
The target audience of this workshop are rehabilitation trainees and Fellows who require initial instruction, repeat their training or refresh their skills. The attendees will have opportunities to familiarise and work with the currently commercially available toxins and familiarise with their idiosyncratic features with the help of the instructors.
