Session outline
Physiatrists are underrepresented in medical leadership positions worldwide. This scientific session provides a rare opportunity for attendees to meet Physiatrists in prominent medical leadership positions from around the world and to gain insights into how these leaders’ background in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine enhanced their influence as they lead their institutions during times of global turmoil with war, pandemic, and financial crisis. The faculty for this scientific session consists of current and past leaders of ISPRM and national medical organizations. This scientific session faculty will share real-life experiences and advice that will help Physiatrists in all parts of the world be effective leaders in their organizations especially during these uncertain times.
