Pauline has worked as a Technical Advisor for the WHO Headquarters’ Rehabilitation Programme for the last 7 years. In this role she has supported the development of multiple WHO resources and initiatives. Prior to this, she spent 4 years as the Disability and Rehabilitation Regional Advisor in the WHO’s Western Pacific Office. In her time at WHO she has provided technical support to over thirty Ministries of Health. Before joining WHO, Pauline worked at the University of Melbourne’s Nossal Institute for Global Health. Pauline originally trained as a physiotherapist in Australia, she has a master’s in social science and PhD. She has worked in both the rehabilitation and disability service sectors in high, middle and low-income countries for 30 years, this has included research, teaching, program management, technical advisory and practitioner roles.
