The exhibition set up is to take place strictly during the allocated times. Unpacking within the exhibition area must take place in your stand area and not in the aisle ways or at another exhibitor’s stand. Aisles must be always kept clear and fire exits must not be utilised under any circumstances for storage.

Flooring #
When moving and positioning heavy items within the venue, it is important to consider the floor loading of the area and the path available to that area.
The Exhibition halls have a floor loading capacity of 20kpa(2000kg/sqm). For all other areas of ICC Sydney, including the Gallery, the floor loading capacity is 5kpa (500kg/sqm).
Factors to be considered by any person working in any area of ICC Sydney include:
- weight of the item
- dimensions of the item
- how it will be transported within the Centre
- weight of any handling device (e.g. forklift)
If unsure about floor loading capacity for the intended use, make sure to consult ICC Sydney in advance.
Rigging #
All primary (top point) rigging, including banner points within the exhibition halls, must be arranged by ICC Sydney. Rigging quotes will depend on a variety of factors, such as where your stand is located on the exhibition floor as well as the specifications of banners.
To receive a quote and book this service please complete the ICC banner and rigging order form no later than Friday 24 May.
Testing and tagging #
All portable electrical equipment, appliances and leads used on the ICC site must be tested and tagged in accordance with Australian Standard and Workplace Health & Safety Legislation. Any electrical equipment found not tested will have to cease immediately.
For safety reasons, double adaptors are not to be used in the centre. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure that all loose cables are secured to avoid tripping hazards and are in accordance with Australian Standard.
Security #
While every reasonable precaution is taken, the organisers and the venue accept no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to persons or property at the exhibition resulting from any cause whatsoever.
If you require additional security or a physical presence in the exhibition area independent security staff dedicated to duty in your stand area can be engaged at the exhibitor’s cost. Please review prices in the event services information sheet.
Exhibitors must make provisions for the safeguarding of their goods, materials, equipment and displays at all times. Please be security conscious. Do not leave wallets, laptops, mobile telephones, or any easily portable items unattended, at any time, in your stand. Exhibitors are strongly advised to remove any valuable material or equipment from their booths overnight. The protection of your property is your responsibility.
